Everything is going great; studying at LSE was definitely the best decision I have ever made. It was a bit challenging at first to adjust to this new life — socializing in a foreign language and adapting to a completely different culture. I really wanted to have British friends rather than international or French ones to fully experience English culture. It took me a fair amount of time, but I succeeded, and I now live with three great British lads who have become very close friends. University-wise, everything is going well; I achieved a First last year and am preparing for my second-year exams in the coming weeks. The quality of teaching is consistently excellent. I’m doing amazing! I feel like Comparative Literature and Film were excellent choices for me; I’m really enjoying both modules, and the feedback on my essays has been great so far. I love the town and the walks on the beach, and I've slowly managed to find my people there. I’m even going to act in the French Society’s play with my closest friend, which is a really exciting project! The first semester honestly went by so quickly; I can’t believe we are almost in December.
